Good thing she has long hair! Nicki Minaj posted an ultra-sexy selfie on Instagram Wednesday, Aug. 7, in which she posed topless for the camera. The 30-year-old rapper strategically covered her boobs with her long dark hair to keep it semi-appropriate for social media.
In the risque shot, Minaj puckers up her lips and proudly flaunts her large chest. The “Super Bass” singer has never been shy about showing off her body on Instagram. On July 18, she posted a photo of her butt in a hot pink thong in honor of “Thong Thursdays.”
Minaj recently made some of her fans worry that she’d been taken off the market. On July 25, DJ Khaled posted an emotional, surprise proposal video asking for Minaj’s hand in marriage. Two days later, Minaj stepped out wearing a huge diamond ring causing speculation that she was, in fact, engaged. But it turned out to be a big publicity hoax.
“Khaled is my brother and Khaled was not serious with that damn proposal, ya’ll,” she told radio station Hot 97’s Funkmaster Flex on July 29. “Please let it go. He was kidding. He’s not attracted to me, he doesn’t like me. We’re brother and sister.”
“It was just another way for him to kinda give the world a glimpse on the feeling of this record. Nobody in my real life took it seriously,” Minaj explained. “Everybody just hit me like, ‘LOL. Yo, Khaled is crazy.'”
She may be the daughter of famous funny man Eddie Murphy, but Bria Murphy takes her burgeoning modeling career seriously. That said, she’s not willing to sacrifice her health just to achieve the perfect slim body magazines covet.
In an interview on Good Morning America that aired on Tuesday, June 11, the 23-year-old offspring of Murphy and ex-wife Nicole Murphy (herself a former model) revealed the drastic measures some mannequins resort to in order to lose weight. “I’ve heard of people eating the cotton balls with the orange juice…they dip it in the orange juice and then they eat the cotton balls to help them feel full, because the cotton’s not doing anything. It’s just dissolving. And it makes you think you’re full, but you’re not,” she said.
“Lots of girls get addicted to drugs and anorexia, it’s — there’s a whole list of things, because it’s a lot of pressure to be perfect,” continued Bria, who is currently the spokesmodel for Dark and Lovely hair products.
The stunner also shared her dream to model for Victoria’s Secret, a wish that doesn’t seem out of reach judging by the sexy bikini shots of her, taken in Hawaii on the same day the interview aired. She’s fully aware, however, that the industry she’s chosen can lead to crippling self doubt and body image issues.
“It’s your job to go into a room…and some people will just say no without an explanation, and some will be like, ‘Oh, your nose is too big. Your butt’s too big. Oh, your legs are flabby.’ Like, they’ll just go on you, ‘Oh, you need to tighten that up,’ ” she said.
The company behind the “Girls Gone Wild” video empire has filed for bankruptcy in a move it says is an effort to restructure its legal affairs after several disputed court judgments.
GGW Brands LLC and several subsidiaries filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Wednesday in Los Angeles, listing more than $16 million in disputed claims.
The largest claim is $10.3 million that Wynn Resorts Limited is seeking from the company for judgments entered against “Girls Gone Wild” founder Joe Francis over a gambling debt and statements he has made about the casino and its founder, Steve Wynn.
Francis no longer owns the company, which has made a fortune selling videos and magazines of young women flashing their breasts.
“Girls Gone Wild” issued a statement that it is financially strong but needed to “re-structure its frivolous and burdensome legal affairs.”
A beautiful summer day at the beach turned into a Hollywood style horror story when a New Zealand man was ripped apart by a Great White shark as hundreds of terrified tourists looked on helplessly.
Documentary filmmaker Adam Strange was repeatedly pulled under the water by the 14-foot predator as he struggled to get to the safety of a nearby rock while the water was dyed crimson with his blood, reported Stuff.co.nz.
“All of a sudden, we saw the shark fin and next minute, boom, attack him and then blood every where on the water,” said witness Pio Mose, who was fishing at Muriwai Beach near Auckland, around 1.30 pm local time on Wednesday.
Mose attempted to save the stricken swimmer as his friend ran to get help from the coastguards. “He was still alive, he put his head up, we called him to swim over [to] the rock to where we were. He raised his hand up, and then while he was rising his hand up we saw another attack pull him in the water,” he revealed.
The 46-year-old father-of-one bobbed above the surface one more time but onlookers soon realized that he was dead.
Attracted by the scent of blood spreading through the water, four other sharks swooped in to feed on the remains before armed police in a helicopter and an inflatable lifesaving boat arrived and began firing into the water to drive them off.
A regular at the popular beach who was familiar with the dangerous waters, Strange was training for an upcoming Ocean Swim event. “He surfs the beach every day, he loves the ocean” revealed a friend.
“The family are grieving the loss of a glorious and great father, husband and friend,” Strange’s family said in a statement.
Strange was an award-winning director with a background in painting, photography and graphic design. He won a Crystal Bear award with his first short film Aphrodite’s Farm at the Berlin Film Festival in 2009.
Muriwai and nearby beaches have all been closed following the fatal attack and police continue to patrol the area in helicopters.
Shark attacks are extremely rare in New Zealand, with an estimated 12 to 14 people being killed in the Southern hemisphere country since the 1830s.
“There are much lower levels of shark attacks here than in Australia,” explained Clinton Duffy, a shark expert with the Department of Conservation, according to FoxNews.com . “It’s possibly a function of how many people are in the water [in New Zealand’s cooler climate].”
Sticks and stones might break her bones, but chains and whips excite her!
Yes, Rihanna‘s been known to share her sexual proclivities through her art, and she continues the trend in a racy new V Magazine photo shoot with perennial supermodel Kate Moss, and we’ve got the pics and video for you right here on RadarOnline.com.
Famed photographer Mario Testino took the steamy shots of Kate and the S&M singer, who celebrated her 25th birthday in Hawaii this week with beau Chris Brown.
In one sexy shot, Moss, 39, is hovering over a prone RiRi (clad in a form-fitting lace get-up) with whip in hand.
In the issue, Rihanna said the celebrity pairing came about when she was talking with Testino about an upcoming shoot, and Moss told her she’d love to team up for it.
“Kate overheard us talking and she said, ‘I want to do it with you!’ Again, I was like, ‘Are you f***ing kidding me?’ … I was dying on the inside. All my fantasies were coming true: Mario, V, Kate Moss,” Rihanna said.
Pop star Rihanna accompanied boyfriend Chris Brown to court for a probation hearing Wednesday, sitting with Brown’s mother while the singer faced the judge.
It was Rihanna’s second time in a courtroom with Brown. The first was the day in August 2009 when he was sentenced to five years’ probation and 180 days of community service for beating her.
Brown is now in trouble with the Los Angeles County district attorney, who accused him in a court filing this week of not completing the community labor ordered when he pleaded guilty to the felony assault charge.
The paperwork Brown submitted to show he had completed community labor is “at best sloppy documentation and at worst fraudulent reporting,” District Attorney Jackie Lacey said. Brown wasn’t in town on some of the dates reported, the motion said.
Brown’s lawyer Mark Geragos disputed the charges, saying that at least six Virginia officials told the Los Angeles investigators that Brown had performed his community labor.
“Apparently the district attorney’s office has completely lost their minds,” Geragos said Tuesday. “They are making scurrilous, libelous and defamatory statements and apparently have lost their ability to read their own reports.”
Despite the serious allegations outlined in the court filing, the prosecutor is not asking for Brown’s probation to be revoked and the singer sent to jail. She is asking the judge to order him to restart his 1,400 hours of community service under the supervision of a Los Angeles probation officer.
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge James Brandlin set a hearing for April 5 for Brown to return to court, but a full hearing on the allegations will be held later.
Brandlin ordered Brown to report to his probation officer within the next two days to be interviewed for a report that will be used at the hearing.
Geragos said he would encourage the Richmond Police Department to take legal action against the Los Angeles County district attorney.
Rihanna entered the courtroom behind Brown and sat on the second row of the right side.
This Friday marks the fourth anniversary of the night Brown punched Rihanna inside a rented Lamborghini on a Hollywood street, leaving her face bruised and bloody.
Rihanna and Brown broke up after he was arrested for assaulting her, but they’ve made no secret in recent months that they are a couple again.
Brown got an unusual deal when he pleaded guilty in August 2009 which allowed him to complete his court-ordered community service in Virginia, under the personal supervision of Richmond Police Chief Bryan Norwood.
Normally, community service must be supervised by a probation office. The Los Angeles district attorney alleged in a motion filed Tuesday that Brown’s mother supervised most of it, and investigators found evidence it was never done.
The motion also accused Brown of violating probation by punching singer Frank Ocean at a Hollywood recording studio last month, threatening to “bust” — or shoot — the singer. It also notes a Miami incident during which Brown allegedly stole a fan’s cell phone and a chair-throwing incident after a “Good Morning America” interview.
Also, Brown’s claim to have medical marijuana license, which used to defend against a drug test result, was invalid because the acupuncturist who wrote it was not licensed to prescribe drugs, the motion said.
One person’s shame and ridicule is another person’s ratings gold!
A whopping 4.3 million viewers tuned in to last night’s Oprah’s Next Chapter to watch Oprah Winfrey grill Lance Armstrong about his alleged doping scandal, making it the highest rated weekday telecast in OWN history. And that was only part one!
Oprah and Lance Armstrong: The Worldwide Exclusive had the cyclist admitting to doping to win races starting in the mid ’90s. “I viewed [taking drugs] as very simple—oxygen-boosting drugs that were incredibly beneficial for performance sports. And that’s all you needed. My cocktail was only EPO—not a lot, transfusions and testosterone.”
When asked why he didn’t come clean sooner, Armstrong simply said: “I don’t know if I have a great answer. I will start my answer by saying this is too late…and that’s my fault. I view this situation as one big lie that I repeated many times.”
Part two (airing tonight on OWN) will feature more conversations between Oprah and Armstrong about his past use of performance-enhancement drugs and probably more kind-of-saying-sorry but not really.
The Kardashians may have taken the definition of sharing to a whole new level.
After jet-setting from Los Angeles to New York City, Kim Kardashian joined big sis Kourtney Tuesday morning on the Today show, where they chatted about motherhood, marriage, and breastfeeding with host Savannah Guthrie.
“[Kourtney] said, ‘Like one sister should babysit all the kids so I can go, and then whichever sister’s babysitting should just breastfeed all the kids,” Kim shared.
“I didn’t say let’s try this. But [Kim] did say, ‘Does that not freak you out?’ and I said, ‘No, it doesn’t.’” Kourtney retorted.
Drifting away from their silly banter, Kim, who is three months pregnant, admitted that she hasn’t quite settled into mommy mode yet.
“I think until I really start seeing a belly, it won’t really sink in. It’s just a weird realization, but I think until you start seeing the physical changes…you know, every day is different,” the 32-year-old said about expecting her first child.
Thank you, GQ, for delivering a whole lot of Beyonce, just as we’re prepping to see, well, a whole lot of Beyonce.
The singer rocks her fabulous curves on the mag’s February cover as the first of its 100 sexiest women of the 21st century. And we gotta ask, she had a baby? With that body?
The 31-year-old’s tiny, sporty crop top and red-and-black leopard-print panties cannot tell a lie (though of course retouching can fib a little). And yes, Rihanna set the bar high on the December GQ cover wearing less on the bottom, but Queen B doesn’t have to share the spotlight with Channing Tatum and Ben Affleck.
So how much more Bey can we expect in the near future?
Well, she’s performing the national anthem at President Obama’s second inauguration on Jan. 21, then headlining the Super Bowl halftime show Feb. 3, introduced by 50 lucky fans. And don’t forget her big-bucks deal to promote Pepsi products. Coming soon to a can near you, and all that …
