The CNN political contributor says she’s going to be “an unbelievable attorney.”

Van Jones is advocating on behalf of Kim Kardashian and couldn’t hold back his praises about her during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres while he talked about his upcoming documentary The First Step

On Monday (May 24), the CNN political contributor shared his thoughts about Kardashian’s journey into studying law, “ She’s doing amazing. I think she’s used her platform to help people behind bars and her dad was a lawyer and she always wanted to be a lawyer and… when she got a taste of what she could do using her platform, using her brain, she hasn’t let up.”

Vanessa Bryant Accepts Hall Of Fame Honor On Behalf of Kobe Bryant

She gave an emotional speech.

On Saturday (May 15), Kobe Bryant was posthumously inducted into the 2020 class of Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Vanessa Bryant accepted the honor on his behalf and delivered a powerful speech.

Vanessa said, “I used to avoid praising my husband in public because I felt like he got enough praise from his fans around the world and someone had to bring him back to reality. Right now, I’m sure he’s laughing in heaven because I’m about to praise him in public for his accomplishments on one of the most public stages. I could see him now, arms folded, with a huge grin saying, ‘Isn’t this some s—?’ He’s still winning.”

Derek Chauvin found guilty of all three charges for killing George Floyd

The former Minneapolis Police officer who kneeled on George Floyd’s neck for over 9 minutes last year was found guilty Tuesday of all three charges against himin one of the most consequential trials of the Black Lives Matter era.Derek Chauvin, 45, was convicted on charges of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. The jury deliberated for more than 10 hours over two days in coming to their decision.

DMX, Top-Selling but Troubled Rapper, Dies at 50

Earl Simmons, the snarling yet soulful rapper known as DMX, who had a string of No. 1 albums in the late 1990s and early 2000s but whose personal struggles eventually rivaled his lyrical prowess, died on Friday in White Plains, N.Y. He was 50.

His family announced the death in a statement. He had been on life support at White Plains Hospital after suffering what his family called “a catastrophic cardiac arrest” a week earlier.

“Earl was a warrior who fought till the very end,” the Simmons family said. “He loved his family with all of his heart, and we cherish the times we spent with him.”

On April 2, Mr. Simmons had a heart attack at his home in White Plains. In the days that followed, his representatives said he was on life support “in a vegetative state.” Outside of the hospital, family and friends gathered with hundreds of fans, playing DMX’s music aloud and praying, holding up their arms in the shape of an X.
