So it’s probably a sensible decision that Madonna has decided to sell one of her Manhattan properties.
The Material Girl has placed her Central Park West duplex up for sale for a whopping $23.5million.
The listing on a local real estate company page comes after she also placed her Beverly Hills mansion up for sale in March.
The singer bought an apartment in the building when she was married to Sean Penn in the 1980s, before buying a second apartment to expand it after their divorce.
She then purchased a third apartment, turning the three units into one big duplex spanning the fifth and sixth floor of the 1907 building.
However, in recent years she has been living in triple-wide townhouse on the Upper East Side, which she bought in 2009.
The 6,000-square-foot apartment includes Juliet balconies on to the park with 110 feet of frontage on Central Park West.
The duplex includes eight bathrooms, five wood-burning fireplaces, a library, kitchen/diner and formal dining room.
The master bedroom included luxurious marble bathroom with Moorish arches, a steam shower and claw-foot tub.
The residence has been decorated in an Art Deco style by Madonna’s younger brother Christopher Ciccone, who is an interior designer.
When she’s not touring, Madonna – who is said to be worth $650 million, lives in her Upper East Side townhouse with her four children Lourdes, Rocco, David and Mercy.
She bought it for $32.5 million a year after splitting from second husband Guy Ritchie.
She spent millions of dollars renovating it before moving in.
