Marques Houston made his return to the music industry today with the release of his first song in a year called “Together”! The song is featured on the 9 song soundtrack for the movie “Til Death Do Us Part” starring Taye Diggs, which Houston also wrote and produced. When asked why he chose to make his return to music on this particular soundtrack, it surprisingly wasn’t the answer that we expected. Houston felt compelled to give his addition to the soundtrack because the movie’s message and purpose is to bring awareness to the growing domestic violence problem in America. “I don’t condone any kind of domestic violence….and people so easily overlook it. Hopefully this film and the soundtrack will bring attention to this problem and help to solve it.”, says Houston. The soundtrack features a few other artists including Mila J and J-Boog formerly of B2K and will be available on September 22. “Til Death Do Us Part” releases in theaters nationwide on September 29.

Is Amanda Bynes on the mend? The 27-year-old actress’ parents, Lynn and Rick Bynes, and lawyer, Mary Shea, gave an update on her health following a conservatorship hearing at Ventura County Juvenile Court House in Oxnard, Calif. on Monday, Sept. 30.
Through their lawyer, Tamar Arminack, Lynn and Rick Bynes released the following statement Monday regarding their daughter’s health: “Earlier this month, in a separate Lanterman-Pertis-Short proceeding, Lynn Bynes was granted LPS Conservatorship of her daughter Amanda. It is for this reason, and in an effort not to duplicate conservator rights, that Mrs. Bynes decided to withdraw her Petition for Conservatorship of her daughter in the probate courts this morning. The Bynes Probate conservatorship proceeding has been continued in part to December 17, 2013, for final determination and dismissal.”
On Monday, TMZ reported that Bynes has left UCLA Medical Center and moved to celebrity rehab center The Canyon in Malibu three weeks ago. Unlike the UCLA Medical Center, The Canyon does not have a psychiatric facility.
In their statement, Bynes’ parents addressed the report — confirming Amanda’s move, but not naming The Canyon or any specific facility: “Currently, upon recommendation by the skilled healthcare professionals at UCLA Medical Center, Amanda is receiving specialized treatment in a private facility outside of Los Angeles. Amanda is making great strides towards recovery. The entire Bynes family would like to ask that they be given some measure of privacy so they can focus on Amanda’s health and well-being. The Bynes family would also like to thank all of Amanda’s supporters and well-wishers for their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.”
Outside of court, Bynes’ lawyer Shea told reporters, “She is doing well. She is doing better.”
Zoe Saldana’s new interview with Allure magazine has attracted a lot of attention — in more ways than one. In addition to posing nude for the June issue, the 34-year-old Star Trek Into Darkness actress allowed the magazine to print her weight on the front cover and opened up about her sexuality in a revealing profile within.
Under Saldana’s name on the gorgeous cover, Allure wrote, “115 pounds of grit and heartache.” Inside the issue, Saldana showed off her slim figure in a sexy photo shoot that included a fully nude shot.
Saldana, who split from Bradley Cooper earlier this year, also said she may consider dating a woman in the future. “[I might] end up with a woman raising my children,” she explained of her sexuality. “That’s how androgynous I am.”
When asked if she’s ever been in a relationship with a woman before, Saldana said, “Promise me one thing: You’re going to ask this question [in the article]—- if you choose to, just put three dots as my response. That’s it.”
At the Hollywood premiere of Star Trek Into Darkness on Tuesday, May 14, Saldana further explained her quotes to reporters. “It wasn’t a generalization. It was a statement that I strongly stand by,” she said of calling herself “androgynous.” “As of today, I’ve been attracted to the male species but if one day I wake up and I want to be with a woman, I will do that because it is my life and therefore it is my decision.”

Megan Fox has some competition! The gorgeous 26-year-old actress was spotted filming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles alongside her equally stunning body double.
Fox caused a double-take when she chatted with her look-alike on the NYC set Wednesday, May 8. Both ladies were dressed in the same yellow leather jacket, gray shirt, dark jeans and high-heeled boots, to play the role of Channel 6 reporter April O’Neil.
For the live-action, CGI film, Fox is teaming back up with producer Michael Bay, after famously feuding when they worked together on the first two Transformers movies. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles also stars Will Arnett (Vernon Fenwick), Alan Ritchson (Raphael), Noel Fisher (Michelangelo), Jeremy Howard (Donatello), Pete Ploszek (Leonardo) and Danny Woodburn (Splinter).
Though it’s hard for Fox to hide her good looks, the actress recently told the U.K.’s Mirror that she won’t be taking on super-sexy roles now that she’s a mom.
“[Motherhood] changes your perspective about being overly sexual in a film when you have a baby,” said Fox, who welcomed son Noah with husband Brian Austin Green in September. “I’m going to be more cautious about choosing films because I’m already thinking about when he’s in school and his friends are going to be showing him my photo shoots with me in a bikini and he’s going to be horrified.”

Rachel McAdams is back on the market. The actress has ended her real-life romance with Midnight in Paris co-star Michael Sheen, a source confirms to Us Weekly.
McAdams, 34, and Sheen, 44, took their romance public in October 2010 after meeting on the naturally romantic set of Woody Allen’s film.
“Michael and I didn’t get together while we were filming Midnight in Paris, which I feel strongly about not doing when I’m working. We became quite good friends, which I think is a great way to start,” McAdams told The Sunday Telegraph’s Stella magazine in January 2012. “I felt very blessed to have made a Woody Allen film in Paris together.”
The Vow actress also shared that her most important quality in a relationship is good communication. “You need to trust each other and be able to talk to each other and be best friends.”
During her relationship with the British actor, the pair remained steadfastly devoted to making it work. “Michael and I never spend more than three weeks apart — we rack up a lot of air miles — but you have to be quite adaptable in this business whether you are in a relationship or not,” she told Stella.
The Canadian star’s last serious relationship before Sheen was with her Notebook co-star Ryan Gosling. The two began dating in 2005 and were briefly engaged, but called it off in 2007. Sheen had an eight-year relationship with actress Kate Beckinsale from 1995 until 2003; the two share daughter Lily, 14.
At 67 years old, Steve Martin is at last starring in his own real-life version of Parenthood! The New York Post’s Page Six reports that the beloved comic actor has quietly become a father for the first time, with his wife, Anne Stringfield, welcoming a child in December.
The Dirty Rotten Scoundrels star and Stringfield, 41, were recently spotted near their Los Angeles home with their newborn baby — whose gender and name have yet to be revealed. Says an insider to Page Six: “They’ve had a baby, and how they kept it a secret nobody knows . . . Steve’s very private.”
Actor, comedian, novelist and musician Martin divorced first wife, actress Victoria Tennant, in 1994 after eight years of marriage. He quietly wed Stringer — a writer and former New Yorker editor — in July 2007 at his L.A. home in a surprise ceremony officiated by former Nebraska Senator Bob Kerrey. Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels was best man, and other celeb guests included Tom Hanks, Carl Reiner and Eugene Levy.
Of the new bundle of joy, Martin and Stringfield “are thrilled,” the source tells Page Six. “They worked hard to have the baby.” Martin’s rep could not be reached for comment.
